This is a 5.4 mile cross country loop course around the lake. Terrain is mostly flat through meadows and forest. It is possibly the most scenic course you'll ever run (or walk). Surface is mostly dirt with some pavement. Junior event (11 - 16) is a flat up and back 1.5mi course. Walk course is 2 miles, mostly flat - up and back. Kid's Run prior to main event is a 200 yd mini-course on paved surface.

Pre-registration fee is $20 for main race (5.4 miles) and $15 for junior and walk races(1.5miles). Race day registration add $5. Family rate: $2. off each entry for 3 or more. Pre registration must be received by July 27 and is nonrefundable. Goodie bags and bib #'s available on morning of race. All entrants will receive a quality embroidered hat or visor. Main event : Medals and Prizes awarded four deep in each age group and gender. Overall winners will receive $100 cash and framed photograph of their finish. Runner - ups will receive $50 cash and a framed picture of their finish.

Junior event, boys and girls: 11-13 and 14-16; Medals and Prizes also awarded 3 deep, with overall boy and girl winners receiving a framed photograph of the their finish.

Lots of raffle prizes too! Ribbons will be awarded to all finishing walkers. Pizza for boy and girl Kids Run winners. Kids Run limited to children 10 and under. Race results will be posted on this web site.

Registration & Pre-reg 7:30-8:30 a.m. - Kids's Run 8:30 a.m. - Run/Walk, Junior and Main Event 9:00 a.m.

Available at designated/marked areas near start location and in day use areas between dam and start area. Family and friends coming to watch need to arrive by 8:15 a.m. as road is part of course and will be blocked.
